We were very pleased to have a full page in the 3 February issue of MJ in which to share our thoughts on the current challenges facing recruitment advertising agencies who have traditionally depended on local government clients. With ominous predictions of massive job losses in the sector dominating the national news there might be an assumption that councils won’t have to try hard to recruit to the (not very many) roles that they have. But we feel that there is still an important role for agencies to play in helping councils promote themselves to potential candidates. But it’s going to be a very different role from the one that most agencies (and clients) have grown accustomed to. If you missed your copy of the MJ you can read it here.
